We are seeking a communicative and compassionate therapist to join our team and support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients. In this role, you will work directly with clients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues. This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with people—not just with clients, but also other members of our team and occasionally outside agencies.
Conduct regular appointments with clients who wish to engage with a mental health professional
Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
Continually assess client progress and provide the proper ongoing treatment
Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
Record and maintain adequate documentation
When required, refer clients to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs
Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client
Licensed to provide counseling in Maryland (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW, LGPC)
Meet all necessary state licensure requirements

This person will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat clients with mental health concerns. Additionally, this person will collaborate with our team to develop and implement comprehensive wrap-around care.
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients.
Diagnose mental health disorders based on assessment findings and DSM criteria.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient and the multidisciplinary team.
Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate.
Provide counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families.
Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Document all patient encounters and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
Participate in case conceptualization and team meetings to ensure wrap-around care and treatment plans.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in mental health care and medication management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.
Attend weekly supervision with our medical director.
Master’s or Doctorate degree.
Current, unrestricted license in Maryland.
Certification as a Psychiatric Physician’s Assistant
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health care.
Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
